Easter with Kingdom Vineyard

FB Event ALL.jpg

Easter is fast approaching and throughout this time of confusion and fear we think it is important that we still dedicate this time to God, and to reflect on these events, even if we can't meet together! We're excited to celebrate together, even if this looks a little different to usual.

The churches of St Andrews have in previous years joined together in a ‘Pilgrimage Walk’ of faith, meeting in a spot in St Andrews, and walking to various landmarks around the town, carrying a cross, and representatives of the churches share a short Bible reading and reflection together, to follow Jesus’ journey to the cross. This year will be a ‘virtual’ pilgrimage walk, via a livestream from 5-6pm. This is the link :  https://www.facebook.com/CornerstoneStAndrews/live/

Good Friday Service

We think it is important to spend time reflecting on the events of Good Friday before we can fully experience the joy of Easter Sunday so on Friday 10th April at 7pm we will have a livestream service with a time of worship and a reflection on the cross. The link to the service is here. The end of the service will lead straight into our Scattered 24 Hour Prayer.

Scattered 24 Hour Prayer

One of the things we love to do as a church is set aside 24 hours for continuous prayer. And even though we can’t meet together to do this, it feels especially important to be spending dedicated time praying during these uncertain times and even more so on Easter weekend.

So, much like the rest of our usual church activities at the moment, 24 hour prayer is happening at your house!

From 8pm on Friday 10th till 8pm on Saturday 11th April we’ll be praying for KV, East Fife and further afield. We’ve put together a sign-up sheet (link below), and we would love you to sign up to pray from your homes for as many hours as you want.
